About DMM Rebel Ice Axe or Hammer

An innovative tool for steep ice and mixed climbing. A distinctive hot forging process makes a solid one-piece shaft and head structure, with lightening runnels, and a built-in wire gate for a leash, emergency rope clip, or for racking.

The ergonomic handle with a top hand-matching platform can be run up or down the runnel to customize the position. Rear teeth on the bottom of the pick and notched shaft interface allow column grabbing and security in cruddy top outs.

Aluminum shaft. Aggressively tapered, hot forged steel, B-rated pick. Components attach securely with Allen screws. Shapely moulded handle with adjustable trigger platform. Bottom spike has a clipable hole and stabilizing teeth.
