Although technically a non-dry treated rope, it is treated with Beal's Dry Cover water resistant coating to help reduce water ingress into the core of the rope. The 60 metre length makes this rope a better choice for climbing in Europe, where pitches can often to be over 50 metres, and it gives a greater safety margin on the bigger UK crags.
