The Inov-8 Mudclaw 330 is a rugged and aggressive fell running shoe, ideal for mountain and off-road running. The synthetic upper has dual layer mesh for comfort and protection.  This shoe has evolved from the older Mudclaw 330 with a slightly wider fit and new colourway.

Ideal for ascending, descending and contouring on steep wet mixed terrain, especially grass and mud.

  • RocShoc™ midsole compound providing excellent stable shock absorption and memory retention.
  • Meta-Flex™ shank allows torquing effect and independant metatarsal protection for precise contouring.
  • Meta-flex groove - anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural fore foot flex
  • Outsole uses a compound of sticky rubber to aid better grip.
  • Aggressively studded tread pattern - ideal for descending on grass, gravel or mud
  • Minimum water absorption and quick drying.
  • Suitable for the neutral runner.

Having been a road for many years, I decided to give fell running a go! after reading many reviews and window shopping I decided to go for the Inov-8 Muddclaw 330, to date Ive 3 fell races in them all approx 10 miles in length, after my first race in them, my left heal was shredded and having heard reports of the old Mudclaws giving runners blisters on the heals I was a little worried. But after 2 other quite difficult fell races the Mudclaws have been great! fantastic grip and great feel for going over rocks etc.. and I would highly recommend them! One thing to note if your thinking of buying these is that they are quite a narrow fit, so those with wide feet might want to try them on in a store before buying online.
