Black Diamonds ATC is a simple, no fuss belay device thats suitable for novice and experienced climbers alike. This has been a classic for many years now and is rightly many climbers favourite. Nothing to break or go wrong, the ATC is a dependable performer. Great for belaying single or double ropes (11mm - 9mm) and suitable for abseiling too. A great all rounder.
Drop-forged from aircraft-quality aluminum alloy, it’s as strong as an ox, and its complex geometry allows it to feed rope smoothly and hold falls with ease. Extensive surface area dissipates heat easily and best of all—if used properly, the ATC doesn’t kink your rope.
