Brilliant. What is important is that they stay on and actually work, unlike some of the alternative products available. I would also like to add that the service I received from The Climbers Shop was excellent.

Have a friend seen using the SPIDER on a long walk in the Lakes and decided to buy them as well. Have used them several times over the last few weeks: easy and quick to put on. Can be used at nearly any shoes or boots, light weight makes it an easy decision to carry them in the rucksack. And most of all: they really work and make walking in wintry conditions safe.

I like the spiders because they light and can just live in my sack when I go out just in case. They fit on almost any size of shoes or boots.
They wont stand hard use however especially on mixed surfaces. I have only used them in anger on sheet ice near home walking the dog and not on the hills but they stayed on and worked well.
