The Scarpa Manta is the ideal boot for anyone looking for a mountaineering boot suited to both the rigours of Scottish winter conditions and for tackling easier graded classic alpine routes.
The Manta is ideally suited to hill, mountain and glacier walking and the occasional easier alpine and UK winter climb. Rated as B2 crampon compatible, it'll fit a range of 10 to 12 point crampons, and is a much loved favourite with outdoor professionals, the military and mountain rescue teams. With its thick reversed leather construction and deep rubber rand, the Manta won't let you down in bogs or foul weather. As the Manta doesn't require an additional waterproof membrane liner, breathablity is exceptional too.Scarpa have also introduce the 360 degree ankle cuff for superb comfort and dexterity.
