The Rab Power Stretch Hoodie is a highly breathable, close fitting midlayer that comes into it's own during high activity and mountain ventures. The Polartec® Power Stretch works exceptionally at wicking moisture away from the skin and letting excess heat out when needed but acts as a comfortable heat layer when less active.

The Rab Power Stretch Hoodie's thumb loops and close fitting hood (which fits nicely under a helmet) mean that you are snugly wrapped in efficient power stretch which forms a great basis for a layering system.

Ive had it a couple of months now and it has proved to be a truley versatile piece. The hood and slightly longer arms with thumb-loops make it super useable. And the material feels warm even when damp. Make sure it fits as a baggy one will be no warmer than a normal fleece.

Ive never worn this type of top before, but have worn fleeces etc as a mid layer. Having now worn this obsessively for a few weeks including a week of Scottish winter climbing, Ive come to the conclusion that this type of thing is fantastic. Its close stretchy fit is excellent and doesnt restrict movement (you feel less bulky than you would with a traditional fleece) and the hood is great for thro
