Lives up to its reputation. It is soft and feels slightly padded (but it is not).
It is warm enough for most winter days worn over a base layer although if it is
really cold and windy I find it it needs a windproof over the top. It certainly wicks
well. After a climb of the local hill I was quite warm but the jacket was comfortable
and I was suprised to feel the outside was quite damp, obviously it was wicking the
persperation well. Once I got going again it was dry in no time. The hood is good and
acts as a great padded collar when folded up. To summarise, a great bit of kit.

For once, a jacket that does exactly what it says on the tin. Wore this in the lakes on a windy & cold day over just a light base layer & was warm & comfortable all day. Next wore it on a bitterly cold day on pendle hill over a microfleece & did not even need to put an extra layer whilst on a lunch stop at a very windy summit. This jacket has just the right balance of warmth & windproofness.

For me the best soft shell there is. Light, brilliantly windproof and warm when you need it. It wicks away sweat to keep you dry and will often be the only thing youll need on over a base leyer unless it gets really wet. The fit is bang on and it stretches where you need it to. The hood makes it the ideal. I rate it better than Mountain Eq Astron as it is warmer.

Absoluely superb jacket. I wear mine all year round, whenever the temperature drops. Hood is excellent as is back and arm length (Im 63" - Size L ) Lower arms and cuffs might be a bit tight for some but works fine on me. As a previous review said, this one does everything it says on the tin, plus more!
