The Black Diamond C4 Camalots' double-axle design allows retraction of larger cam lobes, giving them a much bigger expansion range than traditional single-axle units.  This means they're easier to place, and retrieve, and are more versatile than conventional cam designs.  They are also very lightweight, with machined out cams to reduce weight while still maintaining strength.  The cable loop and trigger are easy to pull, even in gloves, and the flexible stem also helps with awkward placements.
