The hammer version of the Grivel Matrix Tech axe is a lightweight climbing axe that utilises the lastest in modern design and production techniques. Ideal for steep ice and technical mixed climbing.
This axe is the ideal choice for climbers who prefers low weight and easy handling technical tools. Being only 565 grams these tools are light and precise.
The Grivel Matrix Tech features a hot forged X-Monster head in chromolly steel. The shaft is double curved to increase knuckle clearance, enhance placement security and to improve wrist comfort . Very efficient hand support with a small Tungsten Carbide fpoint or safety. A Grivel Dragonne Easy-G leash is included with each axe.
