About Aku Mens Croda Gtx

Designed by Aku as the consumate all round backpacking boot, the Croda has developed a following for it's suitability to scrambling and Via Ferrata. With a suede upper and a rubber rand protection around the heel and toe box, the Croda is a good lightweight boot. The addition of the Gore-Tex lining make it as waterproof as they come which helps it to cope with the soggy British weather.
The excellent vibram sole, which features an Internal Mid Sole (IMS) System, cushions your foot but also keeps it low to the ground, making edging and pointing easier when scrambling. The Dynamic Energy Point (DEP), a flex in the lacing system along with the snug ankle fit, also make scrambling and rock use a comfortable experience.
If you're looking for a good all rounder but you also want to do a lot of scrambling androck hopping then the Croda could well be the boot for you.
