done many years back packing and extended ski tours with this little gem...it certainly makes a heavier load feel lighter and carrys fairly low down so does not compromise balance..the only draw back is in deep snow you may need to sit on it ,but the keyhole shape frame does not like this,but it now works quite well without the frame..excellent waist pockets.would buy another but i need to be able to sit on my sac in deep snow...

Very pleased with the Atmos 35. A bit pricier than the rivals but worth the extra expense due to its features and comfort. The back panel provides good ventilation and the storage compartments are plenty large enough for most day hikes. The tool/pole attachment loops work well and the hip belt is very comfortable with useful pockets. Looks good too.
