I bought this for mountain biking on shorter, more local rides when I can get away with a couple of bottles and a few spares, and as someone with Type 1 diabetes I have more crap than most to carry - and the Talon 4 is great. Have another two Osprey packs and despite being light, theyre very robust and full of neat features.

I've always liked the idea of hip sacks, and have bought several over the years, but they've always been disappointing until now. Being very satisfied with my Osprey Talon 22, I decided to give the Talon 4 a try.
This is what Ive been looking for - comfortable, stays in place when moving fast, holds a reasonable amount, and is superbly made. The hip-belt pockets keep my camera and monocular always at hand, and the bottle sleeves and bungie support hold 2 oval sigg bottles perfectly. The adjustable belt is perfect, and the airscape back will be great if we get a hot summer! Well done Osprey!
