Osprey Talon 33 Rucksack Description

  • Brand : Osprey
  • Season : SS16
  • Code : 5003449
  • Weight : 0KG
  • Possibly most versatile pack in the Osprey range (and probably TCS's best selling pack) combining lightweight materials with the features and functionality required for alpine climbing, mountain biking, hillwalking or backpacking. Easy top loading and a floating top pocket, as well as hip belt pockets and quick clip bungy straps mean you can keep organized and on the move.

The AirScape™ back panel and die-cut foam hipbelt and harness keeps your load under close control, while also giving superb back ventilation. The shoulder harness is length adjustable, to fit you just right. The zipped pockets on each side of the hipbelt allow quick and easy access to smaller items like phone, powerbar, GPS etc.

The 33 litre capacity is augmented with a large stretch mesh panel on the front of the pack, 2 stretch mesh side pockets and a capacious lid with 2 zipped pockets. This means that the Talon 33 can cope with big loads for big days out in the hills.

Access to your hydration reservoir is external, meaning you don't need to dig through your pack to refill everytime. The  unique Stow-on-the-Go™ system means no more pack ‘on and off’ to store your trekking poles, just simply pass the poles through the two elasticated loops for an easy hands-free solution

    • Osprey Talon 33 Rucksack Review

      By Joe W on 4
I’ve used this pack in so many different situations over the past year. From days out in the hills to taking gear to the climbing wall, I even used it to carry my books to school and the pack seems to have stood up to all these challenges well. Each time you use it, you seem to find a new feature or a hidden pocket that you didn’t know existed! The pack could probably sell itself on looks alone.

Got this as a Christmas present, havent had the chance to use it properly yet but first impressions really good. Very lightweight, compresses well for small loads yet looks like itll easily manage overnighters. Just felt much comfier than others I tried.

Used it for the first time yesterday. Very comfortable, light pack and would recommend it. One little thing to watch out for the tail of the chest strap needs tieing off when I started walking into the wind the strap hit me in the face.

I used this bag on a 30 day trip to Scotland, where I was longboarding, solo and unassisted from the top of Shetland down to the border with England at Berwick. With so many articulation and adjustment points, hooks and loops and general hardiness, this bag is hard to beat. The orange is also good for traffic visibility and man, that thing looks nice!
