Featuring Thermarest's usual super high quality materials and manufacture, the Prolite is light, compact and durable. For those new to self inflating mattresses, the Thermarest Prolite is a quantum leap in comfort compared to closed cell foam camping mats of old. The Prolite rolls down to a tiny pack size, weighs only 460g and inflates itself when the valve is opened (you can blow into it to top it up and adjust the firmness of the mattress). It provides almost bed like comfort and far better insulation from the ground than foam mats.
