The semi static Beal Antipodes 10.5mm rope is an excellent versatile rope for a variety of outdoor activities and uses, from abseiling to caving, watersports to use as tat. It's lack of dynamic stretch that you get from a standard climbing rope, combined with it's resistance to abrasion mean that it is ideal for a climbing safety rope as well as occasions when tension is needed without stretch.
