About Petzl Altios Helmet
The Petzl Altios is part fo a new breed, that of the hybrid helmets - the use of a combination of expanded foam liner and a mesh panel mean that it is both comfortable and lightweight. This innovative design has the affect of giving the helmet a near weightless feeling. In addition, the space created between the head and the liner allows for efficient ventilation to keep the head cool and dry.

- Durable injection molded polycarbonate shell for protection and durability.
- Expanded polypropylene liner absorbs impacts without excess weight.
- Removable mesh panel cradles the head for comfort and optimum pressure distribution.
- Ergonomic shape that adapts well to varying head sizes.
- Two heradlamp attaching options; a removable mount for the ADAPT system, or hooks for others.
- Low-profile buckles located off to the side, not under the chin for less irritation.
- Soft webbing straps for increased comfort.
- Highly adjustable: chinstrap, nape height and headband, for an extremely comfortable and versatile fit.
- Head band folds into the helmet for compact transportation.
- Weight (305g, Size 1)
- ADAPT clip for headlamp or removable clips.
