The stretchy Polartech Powershield material ensures that you're not restricted while climbing or skiing, and the close athletic fit means there's no excess material flapping about. Polartech Powershield is highly water resistant (but not waterproof) and is 98% windproof with excellent breathability. This combination provides great protection against the elements in most mountain situations when a fully waterproof jacket is not needed. This makes it ideally suited for use in Alpine conditions and the great breathability allows for comfortable use underneath your hardshell.
