The Rab Photon Hoody is a super versatile synthetic duvet jacket.  Light, packable and extremely warm.  Perfect for cold belay stances, lunch stops, winter walking and post activity pubbing.

With a hood and full length zip the Photon Hoody is a versatile mountain mid layer or lightweight boost to your clothing system. The Hoody will excel in all situations from a lightweight belay jacket at a windy crag to an efficient mid layer in cold weather mountaineering, and is both lighter and more windproof than traditional fleece layers.

Using Primaloft® insulation, the Photon has an excellent warmth to weight ratio, low bulk and packs down exceptionally small. This great looking jacket is perfect for winter walking, cold weather climbing or any outdoor activity in low temperatures.

Worst jacket Ive ever owned - granted its light, stuffs away and is warm but the cuff adjustment is horrific, the hood is useless and build quality is garbage (certainly on mine - cuff velcro tabs just fell off (the round pointless ones)

My Rab photon is one of the most used jackets in my outdoor wardrobe. Its really warm, yet really light and easy to pack, so its something I always take on treks. For winter its the best, when you stop for lunch on a chilly mountain top, just pop it on, hood up, and youre toasty.
