Returns and Refunds

Online Returns Information:

  • In the event that your purchase is not suitable, for whatever reason, you have the right to return it to us.
  • Goods should be returned in new condition, unused, and with their original undamaged packaging.
  • We aim to process all returns within 72 hours. This may take slightly longer at busy times of the year. We will e-mail you once your return has been processed.
  • Any items returned will be refunded unless faulty or shipped in error.
  • If you wish to exchange an item for any reason, please place a new order for the items that you want.
  • Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for the return postage costs, no postage costs are refundable.
  • Goods may be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt.
  • You do not need to contact us to notify us of your return unless the item is faulty or is outside of our 30-day policy.
  • Goods must be packaged securely to ensure they are not damaged in transit. The responsibility and liability of the goods remain with you until we are in receipt of the goods.
  • For health and safety reasons face masks cannot be returned for an exchange or refund.
  • Climbing & PPE Safety Equipment can only be returned on very strict conditions. Everything must be exactly as it was received, with packaging and labelling intact. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used or contaminated then we regret that we are unable to accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.
  • In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault, for whatever reason, then please contact us first either by telephone or email for further instructions. In the majority of cases, any faulty goods will have to be returned to us and then forwarded on to their respective suppliers for inspection. Please be aware that this process may take several weeks in some cases. Any postage costs paid will be refunded by THE CLIMBERS SHOP if a product is deemed as faulty and still under a manufacturer's warranty.

Suunto X-Lander is the choice for outdoor people who are not willing to make compromises when it comes to the quality, materials and functionality of their equipment.

The Suunto X-lander Military is the military version of the popular X-lander. It shares exactly the same functions and capabilities, the only differences are the appearance. The Military version has a black aluminium case and rubber strap.

The Suunto X-lander's main functions, other than the watch, are the functions that Suunto's outdoor watches have become renowned for. In the mountains these functions not only allow you to keep an accurate track of your progress but also warn you of any potential storms. The X-Lander offers necessary and useful features for every outdoors-person in a way never seen before. It's a top class device that will withstand severe variations in weather, and has proven its unique accuracy, versatility and reliability in a great number of tests.

Altimeter:
The altimeter features a range up to 9000 m (29 500 ft), which puts all 14 of the world´s 8000+ meter summits within your range. It has also an adjustable altitude alarm, as well as different memory functions. With the logbook function you can record total and cumulative vertical ascents and descents, as well as the number of runs skied.
Barometer:
Suunto X-Lander displays the current barometric pressure and temperature as well as the pressure-related data for the past four days. It also shows you the present sea level pressure, which makes it easier to read and understand the barometric pressure at high altitudes.
Compass:
The electronic compass displays the cardinal or half-cardinal point and the North-South arrow and can display bearings with 3-degree accuracy. You can also set it to track a certain bearing, which helps you follow a chosen direction in the terrain. The declination adjustment function allows you to correct the difference between the true North and magnetic North.
Watch:
No matter where and how you are traveling, Suunto X-Lander keeps you on time. The calendar watch is pre-programmed to the year 2089, has 3 daily alarms and a stopwatch with split time measurement and a countdown timer.
